Oceanic is born
1978
In 1978, Ilias Perimenis at the age of 24 embarked on an extraordinary journey by founding Oceanic Marine. With no prior experience in boat manufacturing and limited financial resources, he relied on his formal engineering training and his boundless enthusiasm for ultimate performance with the ambitious vision of creating the finest RHIBs in Greece. This marked the beginnings of Oceanic Marine, driven by one man's passion and a dream to excel.
In his 44 years running Oceanic, Ilias created more than 30 individual designs, ranging from leisure to working boats, including specialized projects for the coast guard, armed forces, and custom designs for individuals with disabilities. By the time the company closed in 2021 he had personally manufactured more than 2.000 individual boats. His contributions to boatbuilding, design and manufacturing include novel production and hull forming techniques and the patented hard nose for rhibs.
Growing family
1991 / 1994
In 1991 and 1994, Iris and Nick became part of the Oceanic family. Surrounded by Oceanic vessels, they enjoyed memorable voyages, exploring hidden coves and the depths of the ocean. These experiences deeply influenced them, inspiring their dedication to sharing the beauty of the sea with others.
Life led them on diverse paths as they pursued education and international experiences , honing their skills in various fields, forming new friendships, and building new lives. Yet, an innate longing remained unfulfilled.
When the pandemic disrupted the world, they paused to reflect and reevaluate their purpose. It became clear that they wanted to carry forward their father's legacy, reinventing and reimagining time-tested practices for a future world.

2021
Nick and Iris founded Oceanic Pro in 2021 with the aim of creating memorable moments for their clients. Drawing on four decades of expertise in boat design and manufacturing, the company excels at blending innovation with time tested traditional practices.
With a forward-thinking mindset, Oceanic Pro is committed to achieving nothing short of excellence.
A new era
2023
In 2023, Oceanic Pro marked a significant milestone as it stepped into a new era. The completion of its inaugural 50ft powerboat model, Karma, signals a remarkable achievement, propelling the company into a new league alongside long time respected industry leaders.
The Oceanic Pro Karma exemplifies the tremendous progress made by the company in just two years. From initial design to final touches, the project spanned 22 months. No small feat considering that every single part of the boat-building process is completed by hand. Karma showcases the meticulous craftsmanship that the company pours into every boat it builds.
